Job Description

We are looking for a competent and meticulous CNC operator to join our Chennai machining team. Our Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment will be operated and monitored by you in order to produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and standards. Attention to detail, a dedication to quality and safety, and a solid grasp of machining principles are necessary for this position.

Responsibilities

Utilise lathes and milling machines, among other computer numerical control (CNC) equipment, to perform machining operations on a range of materials in compliance with work instructions and designs specific to our Chennai site.

To verify product dimensions and adherence to tolerances specified in blueprints, do in-process quality checks using accurate measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, gauges).

Identify and promptly notify the Chennai maintenance team or supervisor of any tool wear, machine faults, or quality issues.

Maintain a clean and organised work area around the CNC machine to guarantee safe working conditions at our Chennai factory.

Observe all safety rules and company standards when operating CNC equipment.

Observe quality control procedures, work instructions, and setup papers precisely.

Skills:

proficiency in reading and analysing simple technical plans and drawings.

experience using control panels and CNC machines.

adept in using devices for precise measurement, such as gauges, micrometres, and callipers.

basic knowledge of cutting instruments and machining procedures.

a strong focus on quality and meticulousness.

Educational Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above

Experience: 10+ yrs
