Are you an experienced, meticulous CNC programmer situated in Chennai who can write precise and effective CNC programs and has a solid grasp of machining procedures?

Join our Chennai-based precision machining team and contribute significantly to the creation and improvement of CNC programs for our state-of-the-art machining facilities. Your programming skills will immediately contribute to our superior manufacturing output in our demanding and fulfilling work environment.

Responsibilities:

Create and refine CNC programs based on engineering drawings, models, and requirements for a variety of CNC machines (such as those used for milling, turning, and grinding).

Choose the right cutting tools, feeds, and speeds to ensure precise and effective machining operations.

Create and modify CNC programs manually using G-code programming or with CAM software (such as Mastercam, AutoCAD CAM, or SolidCAM).

For accuracy, collision avoidance, and cycle time optimisation, simulate and validate CNC programs.

To test new programs and make required modifications, set up and run CNC machines.

Investigate and fix problems with CNC software and machining operations.

Qualification:

excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings, especially GD&T.

practical knowledge of CAM software (if necessary, specify the software you are proficient in, such as SolidWorks CAM or Mastercam).

strong knowledge of the machining processes (milling, turning, etc.), tooling, and CNC machine operations.

familiarity in G-code editing and programming.

the capacity to choose the right cutting instruments, feeds, and speeds for a range of materials.

Education: Any ITI / Diploma Graduation

Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
