Job Description

Primary Task: To apply engineering principles in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for automotive components and vehicles within our Chennai facility, contributing to efficiency, quality, and technological advancement.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes for automotive components and vehicles to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

Assist in the specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment.

Analyze production data to identify trends, implement corrective and preventive actions for process deviations and quality issues. 

Participate in design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) reviews.

Implement robust problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement effective solutions

Required Abilities:

Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA) and other relevant engineering software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

Qualification: BE Degree in Automobile
