Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VMC Setter to join our production team. As a VMC Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate production by setting up and optimizing Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) for various machining operations.

Requirements:

Set up and prepare VMC machines for production runs based on engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Mount and align workpieces, fixtures, and tooling accurately.

Select and install appropriate cutting tools, considering factors such as material, machining operations, and desired surface finish.

Design and fabricate simple fixtures and tooling as required.

Maintain and organize tooling inventory.

Skills:

Proven experience in setting up and operating VMC machines.

Strong understanding of machining principles and processes.

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).

Ability to identify and troubleshoot setup issues and resolve any problems that may arise during machining.

Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or above

Location: In and Around Chennai
