Job Description

A highly qualified and driven VMC Setter is needed to join our production team. By configuring and optimising Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) for a range of machining procedures, a VMC Setter will be vital in guaranteeing accurate and efficient production.

What you will do:

Configure and get VMC machines ready for production runs using work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

Accurately mount and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.

Taking into account variables including material, machining processes, and preferred surface polish, choose and install the proper cutting tools.

As needed, design and build basic fixtures and tools.

Keep your tools inventory up to date and organised.

What we need:

demonstrated expertise in configuring and running VMC equipment.

strong knowledge of the concepts and procedures of machining.

competence with precise measurement tools, such as dial indicators, micrometres, and callipers.

the capacity to recognise, diagnose, and fix setup difficulties as well as any issues that may come up during milling.

Experience: 1 to 6 yrs

Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th, or Above
