Opening for Experienced E&I Inspector in Industrial Projects

Job Description

Primary Task: To perform inspections and quality checks on electrical and instrumentation (E&I) installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, codes, and safety regulations throughout the construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases of projects.

Responsibilities

Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes (e.g., IS, IEC).

Inspect cable laying, termination, glanding, and tagging according to standards.

Review project drawings, specifications, datasheets, procedures, and quality control plans to understand inspection requirements.

Monitor the progress of E&I work to ensure it is being carried out according to the schedule and quality requirements.

Identify, document, and report any non-conformances, deviations, or deficiencies observed during inspections.

Required Abilities:

Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, components, and installation practices.

Familiarity with relevant Indian and international electrical and instrumentation codes and standards (e.g., IS, IEC).

Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and loop diagrams.

Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment.

Role: E&I Inspector

Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

Qualification: Diploma/BE in E&I

Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
