Responsibilities

1. Identifying Statistical Techniques for Quality Improvement: You will identify and apply appropriate statistical methods to assess and enhance the quality of industrial processes. This involves selecting techniques that best suit the specific characteristics and requirements of the processes you are analyzing.

2. Determining Statistical Confidence Parameters: You will calculate degrees of confidence, tolerable error, and sample size to ensure that the statistical analyses you conduct are reliable. This step is crucial for establishing the accuracy and validity of your conclusions.

3. Designing Experiments with Factorial Approaches: You will utilize fractional and complete factorial designs to structure experiments that effectively test multiple variables simultaneously. This approach helps in understanding the interactions between different factors and in optimizing process conditions.

4. Creating Sampling Plans: You will develop sampling plans using attribute, variable, and sequential sampling techniques. These plans will guide how samples are collected and analyzed to monitor and control process quality.

5. Conducting Process Capability and Statistical Analysis: You will perform tests for process capability analysis, assess normal distribution, and conduct hypothesis testing to analyze process data. These analyses help in determining whether processes are capable of meeting quality standards and where improvements can be made.

6. Reporting and Recommendations: You will compile, evaluate, and summarize data to create comprehensive reports. Based on your findings, you will also offer suggestions and recommendations for process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
