DG Operator Desired with Maintenance Knowledge

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor Diesel Generator (DG) sets in our Chennai facility/site in compliance with safety requirements and established protocols.

Observe all safety regulations and instructions about the use and maintenance of DG sets, including those concerning fire and electrical safety that are relevant in Chennai.

Maintain a clean and organised DG set room or area at our Chennai factory or site.

We must respond to power outages promptly and effectively, ensuring that DG sets are activated safely and on schedule, in order to provide electricity back to our Chennai operations.

Make that Chennai's DG sets are working properly by routinely inspecting relevant devices, like as Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).

Skills:

the capacity to successfully do preventative maintenance and routine inspections.

ability to start and stop DG sets in accordance with protocols.

the capacity to track DG-established metrics and spot possible problems.

fundamental troubleshooting abilities for typical operating issues with DG sets.

Role: DG Operator

Experience: 2 to 6 yrs

Qualification: ITI/Diploma/BE in EEE

Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
