Facility Assistance Post Requires Skilled BMS Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor the BMS interface to ensure all building systems are operating within defined parameters and according to schedules.

Respond promptly to alarms, faults, and alerts within the BMS, identifying the cause and taking appropriate initial actions or escalating to the relevant maintenance teams.

Perform basic troubleshooting of BMS-related issues and assist maintenance personnel in diagnosing more complex problems.

Adjust system parameters within the BMS as required for operational needs and energy efficiency.

Generate and analyze reports on system performance, energy consumption, and alarm history to identify trends and potential areas for optimization.

Maintain accurate logs of system events, alarms, and actions taken.

Skills
Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems and how they are controlled by a BMS.

Familiarity with at least one major BMS software platform.

Strong computer literacy and the ability to navigate software interfaces effectively.

Excellent monitoring and attention to detail.

Experience: 2 to 5 yrs

Qualification: ITI/Diploma/BE in Mech
