We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our Chennai manufacturing team. To guarantee that our goods fulfil the highest requirements of quality, dependability, and customer satisfaction, you will be in charge of creating, putting into place, and maintaining quality assurance procedures and systems. Strong knowledge of quality management concepts, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams are prerequisites for this position.

Responsibilities

Create, carry out, and uphold work instructions, inspection protocols, and quality control plans during the production process.

Develop and review product specs and quality standards with others.

To verify compliance with defined quality protocols and pinpoint areas in need of enhancement, conduct process audits and inspections.

Collaborate closely with the engineering, materials management, and manufacturing teams to address quality-related concerns and put process enhancements into place.

Create and present top-notch training courses for manufacturing staff.

Keep an eye on suppliers' quality performance and take part in audits when required.

Provide management with information on quality performance, trends, and improvement projects.

Skills:

strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

knowledge of quality control methods and tools, such as 8D problem solving, MSA, FMEA, and SPC.

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities using a data-driven methodology.

strong grasp of the concepts and procedures of manufacturing.

Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree

Experience: 3+ yrs
