Job Description

Primary Task: To supervise and control day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, guaranteeing that manufacturing procedures are carried out effectively, goods fulfil quality requirements, production goals are met safely, and the production staff is inspired and effective in our Chennai plant.

Responsibilities

During shift handovers, provide important details, the state of production, and any outstanding problems.

To improve the workforce's abilities and output, offer coaching and on-the-job training.

Work together with the Quality Control division to address quality concerns and carry out remedial measures.

Take part in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures, production challenges, and quality concerns.

Participate in investigations and promptly report any accidents, incidents, or near misses.

Required Abilities:

Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
