Sr Engineer Leading Manufacturing Unit

Job Description

Responsibilities

For optimum efficiency, create and refine production layouts, processes, and material handling systems.

Make use of statistical techniques and tools for quality enhancement and process control.

Encourage the production department to have an operational excellence and continuous improvement culture.

Oversee interdisciplinary groups for projects including the launch of new products (NPI) or process improvement.

Oversee the design, installation, and testing of new manufacturing lines or procedures for the introduction of new products.

Keep thorough records of all process modifications, enhancements, and technical research.

Encourage a culture that prioritises safety and recognise possible risks in manufacturing procedures.

Skills
Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and advanced MS Excel for data analysis.

Fluency in English and Tamil (essential for local team management and communication).

Experience: 4 to 8 yrs

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Salary: Based on Previous Work Experience
