Job Description

Primary Task: Designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in our Chennai manufacturing facility while maintaining energy efficiency and rigorous adherence to pertinent industry standards and local laws in order to provide the best possible environmental conditions for production processes, equipment, and worker comfort.

Responsibilities

HVAC equipment, including ducting, plumbing, filtration systems, blowers, exhaust fans, air handling units (AHUs), chillers, and control components, should be chosen and sized.

Verify that installations follow project schedules, quality requirements, and design specifications.

For reoccurring malfunctions, conduct root cause investigation and put long-term fixes in place.

Use energy-saving techniques including scheduling, control sequences, and setpoint optimisation.

Take care of the facility's pressure differentials, drafts, and temperature uniformity problems.

Keep thorough records of all maintenance operations, compliance certifications, and inspections.

Required Abilities:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills for complex HVAC issues.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.

Strong commitment to safety and quality.
