Job Description

A Senior Production Engineer with extensive experience, analytical skills, and a focus on results is needed to join our manufacturing leadership team in Chennai. In addition to guaranteeing strict quality standards, you will play a significant role in streamlining our production processes, increasing productivity, and spearheading shop floor continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Create and enhance material handling systems, industrial layouts, and workflows for optimal effectiveness.

Make use of statistical techniques and tools to improve quality and control processes.

Encourage a culture of operational excellence and ongoing development in the production division.

Oversee multidisciplinary teams working on new product introduction (NPI) or process improvement projects.

For the launch of new products, take the lead in organising, setting up, and validating new manufacturing lines or procedures.

Keep thorough records of all engineering studies, process modifications, and enhancements.

Identify possible risks in industrial processes and foster a culture that prioritises safety.

Skills:

the capacity to inspire, guide, and lead multidisciplinary teams.

proficiency with advanced MS Excel for data analysis and ERP/MES systems.

Proficiency in Tamil and English is necessary for managing and communicating with local teams.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 5+ yrs
