Job Description
Are you a seasoned and results-oriented Quality Assurance leader based in Chennai with a deep understanding of manufacturing quality systems and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and ensure product excellence?

As an Assistant General Manager-Quality Assurance, you will be a key member of our leadership team at our Chennai-based company, helping to develop, implement, and manage our quality assurance policies for all manufacturing activities. Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and framework for all manufacturing processes in our Chennai facility, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department, including setting objectives, managing budgets, and developing a high-performing team of QA professionals.

Drive the implementation of statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve process capability and product quality.

Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all inspection and testing equipment.

Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and manage customer audits and quality-related communications.

Qualification:

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in English and preferably Tamil.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Proven ability to drive change and implement continuous improvement initiatives across a manufacturing organization.

Experience in managing supplier quality and customer quality relationships.

Education: Any BE Degree

Experience: 12 to 15 yrs
