Job Description

Responsibilities

- Post payments and modifications to customer accounts and related invoices accurately.

- Check records to confirm payment details, including amounts and payment methods.

- Quickly process credit card, cheque, and electronic payment transactions; 

- Reconcile payment batches and settle any disparities between bills billed and payments received.Examine and resolve any inconsistencies or problems in the payment posting process.

- Carefully enter payment details into accounting or ERP systems.Verify that all transactions are documented in compliance with the policies and procedures of the business.

- Create and evaluate reports on payments and account balances on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

- Offer information and analysis for audits and financial reporting.

- Answer questions about account problems and payment status from clients or internal departments.

- Help settle payment problems and inconsistencies in an expert manner.
