A highly qualified and diligent Paintshop Quality Engineer is needed to join our Chennai manufacturing team. You are in charge of making sure that the best quality requirements are fulfilled throughout the entire paint process, from pre-treatment to final coating and inspection. This position entails creating, putting into practice, and overseeing quality control procedures, assessing paint flaws, doing root cause analysis, and spearheading efforts for continuous improvement in the paint shop to produce superior product finishes.

Responsibilities

Keep an eye on important process variables to make sure that specifications are being followed.

Utilising quality tools, do comprehensive root cause analysis to identify the origin of paint flaws.

Uphold stringent compliance with safety and environmental laws in the paint shop.

In the paint shop, conduct pilot tests and first-off clearances for new goods or process modifications.

Verify incoming materials and offer comments on the performance of suppliers.

Skills:

proficiency with quality tools including 8D problem-solving, MSA, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.

outstanding statistical, analytical, and root cause analysis abilities.

strong interpersonal, presenting, and communication abilities.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 3+ yrs
