Job Description

Primary Task: To ensure the efficient and safe production of accurate, high-quality components in our Chennai manufacturing plant by designing, developing, testing, and optimising CNC programs for a variety of machining processes on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines.

Responsibilities

Choose the best cutting tools, work-holding techniques, machining sequences, and machining procedures for creating parts.

Debug and troubleshoot current CNC programs to fix machining problems, cut down on scrap, and increase process dependability overall.

Recognise and evaluate the parameters and functions of machine control.

Participate in the development and improvement of fixtures and jigs for precise and effective part machining.

Create reports on scrap rates, cycle times, and machining efficiency.

Required Abilities:

Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.

Experience with DNC (Distributed Numerical Control) systems.

Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing principles.

Experience: 2 to 6 yrs

Qualification: Any ITI Graduation

Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
