Job Description

Primary Task: For our manufacturing operations in Chennai, we must design, develop, manufacture, maintain, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and moulds that guarantee excellent production quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Make tool designs as long-lasting, cost-effective, efficient, and manufacturable as possible.

Make design recommendations and carry out feasibility assessments.

To guarantee performance and longevity, choose the right materials and heat treatment techniques for the tooling.

Evaluate and resolve tooling problems that affect production efficiency or quality.

Put in place and keep up tool room-specific quality control measures.

Use techniques for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing in the tool room.

To fix tooling-related problems affecting product quality or yield, work together with the production and quality departments.

Required Abilities:

proficiency with precision measurement devices for tool quality control.

strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in relation to production challenges and tooling issues.

the capacity to function both alone and together.

Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
