Job Description

Responsibilities:

Create and oversee the maintenance budget, maximising expenditures for labour, replacement parts, outside services, and equipment upgrades while maintaining operational effectiveness.

Oversee, guide, and cultivate a high-achieving group of technicians, supervisors, maintenance engineers, and fitters while promoting a culture of efficiency, safety, and lifelong learning.

Work together with the engineering and production teams to find ways to update existing equipment, facilitate the installation of new equipment, and guarantee design maintainability.

Assure adherence to all regional legal mandates and certifications pertaining to Tamil Nadu's electrical, mechanical, and facility upkeep.

Contract negotiations should be conducted to guarantee prompt and high-quality service delivery from outside partners.

Skills:

thorough understanding of the automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems frequently used in production.

strong knowledge of reliability-centered, predictive, and preventive maintenance concepts.

proficiency with work order management, scheduling, and reporting utilising CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).
