Job Description

Primary Task: To help the Paintshop Maintenance team maintain high-quality painting procedures and minimise downtime by making sure that all systems and equipment in the paint shop of our manufacturing facility in Chennai run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Help senior engineers and technicians carry out planned preventative maintenance on ovens, pre-treatment systems, paint application equipment, and other associated machinery.

Learn how to read simple technical documents and use diagnostic tools.

assist in making sure that, following maintenance, the repaired equipment is operating as intended.

Inform senior staff of any possible issues or departures from regular operations.

Help in the tracking and identification of replacement parts needed for maintenance tasks.

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to the letter in the paint shop setting.

Required Abilities:

Good aptitude for learning technical skills related to paint shop equipment and maintenance.

Basic problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Strong commitment to safety procedures.

Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a technical team.

Role: Jr Engineer - Paintshop Maintenance

Experience: 1 to 4 yrs

Qualification: Any BE Degree

Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
