Job Description

Primary Task: Accurate record-keeping, ideal stock levels, and seamless material flow are necessary to support continuous production and on-time dispatches. To effectively manage the entire inventory of raw materials, finished goods, consumables, and spare parts within the stores department of our plastic injection moulding manufacturing facility in Chennai.

Responsibilities

Make sure that every item is properly labelled, stored, and stocked in the store's assigned areas while following safety and quality standards.

Supervise the loading and unloading process, making sure that items are handled correctly to avoid damage.

Make sure that all required paperwork for incoming and outgoing products is handled correctly.

Inform the supervisor right away of any damages, inconsistencies, or safety issues.

Effectively communicate delivery and inconsistencies to suppliers and vendors.

Required Abilities:

proficiency with ERP or inventory management software.

Strong mathematical abilities for stock reconciliation, quantity calculation, and counting.

Outstanding organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
