Lead as a QC Head in the Industrial Sector

Job Description

Primary Task: In order to guarantee that all products continuously satisfy set quality standards, client expectations, and legal requirements, we must strategically lead, develop, and oversee the whole Quality Control (QC) department within our Chennai manufacturing site. Managing the QC team, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement, and putting strong quality procedures in place are all part of this job to improve customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Create and put into action a thorough quality control plan that is in line with the production and overall commercial objectives of the organisation.

Oversee internal and external quality audits, making sure that non-conformities and audit results are promptly resolved.

Reduce customer returns, rework, and scrap to lower the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

Hire, develop, coach, and inspire a top-performing group of engineers, technicians, and QC inspectors.

To raise the calibre of incoming components and materials, work with suppliers and conduct supplier audits.

Required Abilities:

strong knowledge of industry-relevant production processes.

proficiency with the MS Office Suite, ERP systems, and quality management tools.

strong dedication to honesty and moral behaviour.

Experience: 10 to 12 yrs

Qualification: Any BE Degree
