Job Description

A highly qualified and experienced VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) CNC Operator is needed to join our Chennai-based precision machining and heavy manufacturing team. You will be in charge of operating CNC vertical turret lathes safely and effectively so that they can precisely produce massive, heavy, and complex components.

Responsibilities

Use overhead cranes, hoists, and other heavy lifting equipment to safely load and precisely align large, heavy workpieces onto the VTL chuck/table.

Use CNC programs to load, check, and run VTL processes.

Find any surface finish flaws or dimensional errors, report them, and help decide on corrective action.

Check cutting instruments for breakage, wear, or damage, and replace them as necessary.

Properly handle and dispose of coolant and chips.

Outstanding focus on details and dedication to accuracy.

Excellent problem-solving abilities for machining and part quality problems.

Educational Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above
