Job Description

Primary Task: To maximise operational uptime, prolong asset lifespan, and enhance overall production efficiency and safety by creating, implementing, and continuously optimising comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all essential machinery, equipment, and utility systems within our Chennai manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Determine the best PM frequencies based on operating conditions, manufacturer recommendations, equipment criticality, and historical data.

Collaborate with internal teams or outside suppliers to carry out specialised PdM testing and analyse the outcomes.

To find reoccurring problems and areas for improvement, do trend analysis on maintenance data and equipment failures.

Keep abreast on best practices and the most recent developments in maintenance technologies.

Create thorough technical reports on the condition of the equipment and suggested courses of action.

Required Abilities:

Knowledge of condition monitoring systems and IoT applications in maintenance.

Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards.

Experience in leading small teams or projects.
