Responsibilities

To make sure painted items meet quality standards, perform in-process inspections. This includes visual inspections, dimensional checks, and measurements of paint film thickness.

Find and record paint flaws such fisheyes, sags, orange peel, and other surface irregularities.

Examine the underlying causes of paint flaws and take preventative and remedial measures.
