Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Product Design and Development Leadership:

   - Lead the end-to-end design and development of new products, from initial concept through to final product launch.

   - Ensure that product development aligns with the company's strategic goals and market requirements.

2. Research and Feasibility Studies:

   - Conduct thorough research, feasibility studies, and market analysis to identify potential improvements and innovations in product design.

   - Assess technological advancements and competitor products to inform design decisions.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, and operations) to ensure product specifications meet customer needs and market demands.

   - Work closely with internal stakeholders to align the product roadmap with business objectives.

4. Prototype Development and Testing:

   - Oversee the creation of prototypes and coordinate testing phases to validate product designs and functionality.

   - Ensure prototypes meet quality standards, performance goals, and regulatory requirements.

5. Record-Keeping and Documentation:

   - Maintain detailed and organized records of the product development process, including design specifications, testing results, and iterations.

   - Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference and compliance purposes.

6. Implementing Design Changes:

   - Gather customer feedback and analyze testing results to identify areas for improvement.

   - Lead design revisions and changes to address issues and optimize product performance before launch.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong expertise in product design and development, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple product development stages simultaneously.

- In-depth knowledge of market research, prototyping, and testing methodologies.

- Proven ability to implement design changes based on feedback and testing outcomes.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

- Experience in record-keeping and documentation of development processes.

Role: Product Development Engineer

Experience: 3 to 5 yrs 

Qualification: Diploma/BE in Automobile

Salary: From 35K per month (Can be Negotiable Based on Previous Experience)

Location: Chennai
