Job Description

We are looking to add a highly qualified and seasoned VMC Setter to our vibrant production team. By configuring and optimising Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) for a range of machining procedures, a VMC Setter will be vital in guaranteeing accurate and efficient production.

Requirements:

Configure and get VMC machines ready for production runs using CNC programs, work instructions, and engineering drawings.

Choose and set up the proper workholding equipment, fixtures, and cutting tools.

To get the desired machining results, save setup times, and maximise efficiency, choose and use the right tools and fixturing.

Diagnose and fix setup problems, such as broken tools, broken machines, and program faults.

Skills:

thorough understanding of fixturing methods, cutting tool choices, and machining procedures.

the capacity to understand and comprehend CNC programs, engineering drawings, and blueprints.

Accurate use of precision measuring tools, such as dial indicators, micrometres, and callipers.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to locate and fix machine malfunctions and setup problems.

Experience: 1 to 4 yrs

Qualification: 8th, 10th, 12th, ITI, or Diploma

Location: In and Around Chennai
