Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arc Welder to join our fabrication team in Chennai. You will be responsible for performing various types of arc welding (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW) on a range of metals, adhering to engineering drawings and specifications to produce strong, durable welds for our Company.

Responsibilities

Installing welding equipment include choosing the right welding rods and wires, setting up shielding gases, and modifying welding parameters.

Accurately read and comprehend engineering drawings, work orders, and welding symbols while being aware of Chennai's local fabrication requirements.

Visual inspections and simple measurements are used to make that welds fulfil the necessary quality standards, tolerances, and specifications.

Components should be cleaned, ground, and aligned to prepare metal surfaces for welding.

Before the final welding, tack weld the components into position.

Skills:

competent in a range of arc welding methods and processes.

the capacity to read and decipher engineering drawings and welding symbols.

understanding of the various metals and how they weld.

comprehension of industrial welding safety protocols and practices.

Educational Qualification: Any ITI Degree

Experience: 3+ yrs
