Job Description

Responsibilities

Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate welding rods/wires, shielding gases, and adjusting welding parameters.

Read and interpret welding symbols, engineering drawings, and work orders accurately, understanding any local fabrication standards in Chennai.

Ensure welds meet required quality standards, tolerances, and specifications, conducting visual inspections and basic measurements.

Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and aligning components.

Tack weld components in place prior to final welding.

Skills
Proficient in various arc welding techniques and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of different metals and their welding characteristics.

Understanding of welding safety procedures and practices in an industrial setting.

Experience: Freshers

Qualification: Any ITI Degree 

Salary: Based on Previous Work Experience
