Responsibilities:

Configure and run MIG welding equipment safely and effectively, taking into account the particular equipment utilised in our Chennai facility. This includes modifying wire feed speed, voltage, and gas flow.

Read and comprehend intricate fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and blueprints with accuracy to guarantee accurate project execution in Chennai.

Using a variety of measuring instruments and visual inspection methods, carefully examine welds for quality, dimensional correctness, and compliance to specifications while upholding the quality standards required by Chennai's industries.

In Chennai, carry out thorough pre-weld preparation, which includes cleaning, grinding, beveling, and fitting metal components in accordance with task specifications.

In our Chennai factory, maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment, making small repairs and informing maintenance staff of major problems.

Skills:

the capacity to respect Chennai's local work culture while working both independently and cooperatively in a team.

It is quite desirable to have welding certification (such as AWS, TWI, or an equivalent recognised in India).

A technical degree or certification in welding or a similar discipline from an accredited Tamil Nadu institution is advantageous; a high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
