To join our engineering and design team in Chennai, we are looking for a highly qualified and careful AutoCAD Design Engineer. You will be in charge of using AutoCAD software to create, edit, and maintain accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, and schematics in accordance with engineering criteria. This position is essential for converting creative ideas into workable plans for assembly, construction, or manufacturing; it calls for a strong attention to detail and a dedication to correctness.

Responsibilities

Using AutoCAD, produce intricate 2D engineering layouts, schematics, and drawings.

Create accurate CAD formats from manual sketches and conceptual designs.

Before submitting drawings, make sure they are accurate, thorough, and comply to specifications by conducting peer and self assessments.

Keep CAD files and other project papers in an orderly format for storage and retrieval.

When discussing progress, difficulties, and suggested solutions, be explicit in your communication.

Skills:

high degree of precision and attention to detail in all draughting assignments.

strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in technical drawing and design visualisation.

Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 3+ yrs
