Job Description

We are looking for a TIG (tungsten inert gas) welder with a great deal of expertise and skill to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. A strong grasp of TIG welding processes, remarkable dexterity, and an acute attention to detail are required for this position.

Responsibilities

Execute Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding on a variety of metals (such as titanium, stainless steel, and aluminium) in accordance with the welding protocols, requirements, and drawings unique to our Chennai operations and quality standards.

Set up and run TIG welding equipment, which includes carefully changing welding parameters, choosing the right tungsten electrodes, and using shielding gases.

Accurately read and comprehend intricate technical drawings, welding symbols, and work orders while being aware of any particular project needs in Chennai.

Using precise measurement tools and comprehensive visual inspections, make sure welds satisfy exacting quality standards, dimensional correctness, and aesthetic criteria.

To guarantee the best possible weld quality, clean, grind, and precisely align components on metal surfaces before welding.

Skills:

ability to accurately read and decipher welding symbols and intricate engineering drawings.

adequate knowledge of the setup, use, and maintenance of TIG welding equipment.

knowledge of the various shielding gases and how TIG welding uses them.

Capacity to execute superior welds that satisfy exacting dimensions and aesthetic requirements.

Educational Qualification: Any ITI Degree

Experience: 3+ yrs
