Experienced BMS Operator for Building Systems Monitoring

Job Description

looking to add a dedicated and technically skilled BMS Operator to our Chennai facility management team. The effective and secure operation of several building systems, such as HVAC, lighting, electrical, and fire safety, will be your responsibility. You will also be in charge of the real-time monitoring, operation, and basic maintenance of our building management system.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor the BMS platform to ensure all building systems (HVAC, lighting, electrical, fire safety, etc.) are operating efficiently and within set parameters.

Respond promptly to system alarms, faults, and alerts, investigating the cause and taking appropriate action to resolve or escalate issues as necessary.

Assist the maintenance team in coordinating repairs and ensuring minimal downtime of building systems.

Support the implementation of planned preventive maintenance activities related to BMS components.

Assist in the configuration and upgrades of BMS system settings as required for changes in building operations or new installations.

Skills:

Familiarity with the operation of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems within a building.

Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and addressing system faults or inefficiencies.

Ability to interpret and follow instructions, procedures, and guidelines.

Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate BMS software interfaces.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 3+ yrs
