Job Description

Responsibilities:

Establish and run ARC welding equipment safely and effectively, taking into account the particular equipment used in our Chennai factory. This includes choosing the right electrodes and modifying voltage and amperage.

In our Chennai factory, maintain and troubleshoot ARC welding equipment, making small repairs and informing maintenance staff of major problems.

Respect the safety standards that are common in Chennai's industrial setting by strictly adhering to all safety rules and keeping your workspace neat and orderly.

As needed for the numerous projects being worked on in Chennai, weld in a variety of positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.

Assure that our Chennai operations handle and store welding supplies and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.

Skills:

competence with ARC welding methods and processes.

strong ability to read and understand fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and blueprints that are frequently utilised in Chennai's industries.

thorough understanding of the unique welding properties of numerous welding materials (such as stainless steel, aluminium, and steel) that are pertinent to Chennai's production requirements.
