Are you a seasoned maintenance manager with extensive knowledge of injection moulding machinery and a track record of increasing uptime and decreasing downtime in a high-pressure production setting, based in Chennai?

Take complete responsibility for the dependability, effectiveness, and safety of all of our injection moulding machinery and other plant equipment by joining our leadership team in Chennai as the Head of the Maintenance Department. In this crucial position, your technical know-how and strategic vision will have a direct impact on our production output and general success.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete maintenance department, including the hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and any specialised injection moulding personnel.

To extend the lifespan and uptime of injection moulding machines and associated assets, implement and oversee strong preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Make sure that all applicable safety rules, environmental guidelines, and legal criteria pertaining to the upkeep of injection moulding machinery in India are strictly followed.

Encourage proactive maintenance, ongoing development, and specialised problem-solving for the department's injection moulding equipment.

Manage relationships with external maintenance service providers and vendors specializing in injection moulding equipment repair and maintenance.

Qualification:

Experience in implementing and managing CMMS or similar maintenance management systems, with specific application to injection moulding assets.

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on the unique challenges of maintaining injection moulding equipment.

Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management within a maintenance function focused on injection moulding.

Education: Any BE Degree

Experience: 10 to 12 yrs
