Responsibilities

Contact insurance companies via phone to inquire about the status of pending claims.

Negotiate with insurance payers to resolve denials and obtain reimbursement for medical services.

Identify and correct errors on insurance claims.

Contact patients to discuss outstanding balances, answer billing questions, and arrange payment plans.

Skills:

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong phone presence.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with patients and insurance payers.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve claim issues effectively.

Data Entry Skills: Accuracy and speed in data entry.
