Mechanical Design Engineer SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2024

JD:

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems according to project requirements and industry standards.

2. Create detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

3. Conduct feasibility studies and analyses to evaluate design concepts, performance, and manufacturability.

4. Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to brainstorm ideas, solve technical challenges, and optimize designs.

5. Perform simulations and calculations to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

6. Prototype, test and iterate designs to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

7. Document design processes, specifications, and test results for future reference and continuous improvement.

8. Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and progress updates to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering and design.

10. Support manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams during the production phase to address design-related issues and ensure product integrity.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

2. Proven experience (Minimum 2 to 3 years) in mechanical design, preferably in (specific industry or domain).

3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools.

4. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

8. Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a plus.

9. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

10. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
