Responsibilities

Accurately and promptly receive and process orders from customers.

In order to prioritise and complete orders according to availability and urgency, work with the sales staff.

Assemble goods for shipping, taking care of labelling, packing, and shipping logistics.

To provide a safe working environment, follow safety procedures and laws.

Make sure that the handling and storage of items is done in accordance with applicable industry norms and laws.

Keep thorough records of all shipments, both in and out, including delivery notes, invoices, and packing slips.

As appropriate, create reports on order status, inventory levels, and other pertinent information.

Skills: 

Accurate and timely order processing: Efficiently receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Collaboration with sales staff: Work closely with sales staff to prioritize orders based on availability, urgency, and customer needs.

Order assembly and shipping: Assemble goods for shipping, taking care of labeling, packing, and shipping logistics, adhering to local regulations and standards.

Safety compliance: Strictly follow safety procedures and laws to maintain a safe working environment in Chennai's industrial setting.

Proper handling and storage: Ensure that items are handled and stored in accordance with applicable Indian industry norms and regulations, considering factors like temperature, humidity, and pest control.

Thorough record keeping: Maintain detailed records of all shipments, including delivery notes, invoices, and packing slips, complying with Indian accounting and taxation requirements.

Reporting: Create accurate and timely reports on order status, inventory levels, and other relevant information, using relevant Indian business metrics and reporting formats.

Experience: 1 to 3 yrs

Qualification: Diploma or BE in EEE

Location: Chennai
