Sr Engineer for Paint Booth and Paintshop Utility Upkeep

Job Description 

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a lot of expertise and initiative to oversee and direct the maintenance operations at our Chennai paintshop. You will be in charge of making sure that all paint application tools, ovens, material handling systems, and associated utilities run dependably and effectively while reducing downtime and upholding high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct the Paintshop's daily maintenance activities, including predictive, breakdown, and preventive maintenance.

Create, carry out, and improve maintenance plans and protocols for every piece of paintshop equipment.

Work together with the engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve equipment-related problems and put fixes in place.

Oversee the paintshop equipment's essential replacement component inventories and guarantee prompt delivery.

Create and oversee the paintshop maintenance budget, keeping expenses under control and making the most use of available resources.

For specialised upkeep or repairs, communicate with outside suppliers and service providers.

Skills:

Experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards relevant to Paintshop operations in India.

Proficiency in using maintenance management software (CMMS).

Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree

Experience: 5+ yrs
