Job Description

Focus: In a manufacturing setting situated in Chennai, highlight the key competencies of leading successful product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing the NPD lifecycle for injection-molded items.

Experience: 5 to 7 yrs

What you’ll Do:

Support the formulation and execution of the New Product formulation (NPD) strategy for our injection moulding products in Chennai, aligning with market trends and corporate objectives.

Create and manage project schedules, plans, and progress reports while maintaining good communication with all Chennai stakeholders.

Help in the development of technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and product specifications for new injection-molded goods.

Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes, evaluate the outcomes, and suggest changes to the design or procedure for our Chennai operations.

Keep all NPD project paperwork organised, including design modifications, test findings, and launch schedules pertinent to our Chennai site.

What you need:

Understanding of the injection moulding process, materials, and tooling.

Project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders in Chennai.  

Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate market trends and technical challenges.
