Job Description

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct all maintenance tasks in the paint shop of our Chennai manufacturing plant, guaranteeing maximum uptime, quality, and safety while taking local operational requirements and environmental factors into account.

Manage the paint shop's intricate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation problems, reducing downtime and guaranteeing smooth production flow in Chennai.

Oversee connections with outside suppliers and service providers for the Chennai paint shop's specialised upkeep, repairs, and equipment upgrades.

Assure adherence to all safety requirements and environmental laws that are pertinent to paint shop operations in Tamil Nadu and India.

Oversee the installation, commissioning, and training of maintenance staff in Chennai as you spearhead the adoption of new paint shop technology and equipment.

Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising and developing maintenance technicians.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems within a paint shop.

Solid understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies and their application in a paint shop.

Experience: 5 to 7 yrs

Qualification: Any BE Degree
