We are looking for a motivated and skilled Head of Purchase to oversee our procurement department at our Chennai injection moulding plant. Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, streamlining the procurement procedure, and guaranteeing a consistent and economical supply of the raw materials, parts, tools, and equipment required for our injection moulding operations will be your main responsibilities. A thorough awareness of the injection moulding sector, adept vendor management and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to promote efficiency and cost reductions are all necessary for this leadership position.

Responsibilities

Create and carry out strategic sourcing plans for our injection moulding operations that are in line with the company's production and business goals.

To get the most value in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service, bargain with suppliers over contracts, prices, and terms.

Create and preserve a solid rapport with important suppliers to guarantee efficient communication and cooperation.

Control the amount of essential components and supplies in stock to maintain output while lowering carrying costs.

Work closely with the finance, engineering, production, and quality control departments to comprehend their requirements and guarantee correct and timely procurement.

Verify adherence to all pertinent ethical standards, policies, and procedures in the procurement process.
