Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and implementation of our injection moulding products' New Product Formulation (NPD) strategy in Chennai, in line with business goals and market trends.

Maintain open lines of communication with all Chennai stakeholders while creating and overseeing project plans, timetables, and progress reports.

Assist in creating product specifications, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and technical drawings for new injection-molded products.

Oversee the development and testing of prototypes, assess the results, and recommend modifications to the process or design for our operations in Chennai.

Maintain the organisation of all NPD project documentation, including design changes, test results, and launch dates relevant to our Chennai location.

Skills:

knowledge of the materials, tools, and injection moulding process.

Proficiency in project management, including the ability to oversee deadlines and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities to work with Chennai's internal and external stakeholders.

analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess technical difficulties and industry trends.

Role: NPD Engineer

Experience: 5+ yrs

Qualification: Any BE Degree
