Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ITI Fitter to join our assembly and maintenance team in Chennai. You will be responsible for fitting, assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical components and equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical fitting principles, hand tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly diagrams accurately.

Fit, assemble, and install mechanical components and sub-assemblies with precision using hand tools and power tools.

Align and level machinery and equipment prior to installation.

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, identifying and rectifying faults.

Use various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, feeler gauges) to ensure accurate fitting and alignment.

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly diagrams.

Skill in using precision measuring instruments.

Basic knowledge of different types of materials and their properties.

Good problem-solving skills related to mechanical fitting and maintenance.

Educational Qualification: Any ITI Graduation

Experience: 3+ yrs
