Lead with Quality Take on the Duty of QC Line Supervisor

Your Impact:

Looking for a Line Incharge for our Quality Control (QC) department that is proactive and precise. On a particular production line or in a designated location, you will be in charge of managing and carrying out quality control procedures to make sure that the final goods fulfil predetermined standards and specifications. The ideal applicant will be highly detail-oriented, have a solid grasp of manufacturing procedures and quality control methods, and be able to interact with production teams in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

In our Chennai plant, oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of QC inspectors and operators on a designated manufacturing line or work cell.

Prior to proceeding to the next phase or shipping, make sure every product satisfies specified quality standards, specifications, and customer needs.

On the production line, put inspection plans, methods, and job instructions into action and enforce them.

Use the proper measuring instruments and methods to perform both in-process and final inspections of goods, parts, or assemblies.

Determine which goods or procedures are non-conforming, take prompt corrective action, and separate the faulty materials.

For persistent quality problems on the line, conduct a preliminary root cause investigation and report complicated concerns to the head of the QC department.

What you Need:

Quality Tools: Proficiency in using various quality inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauges, basic CMM operation if applicable).

Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Problem Solving: Basic to intermediate problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis for immediate quality deviations.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech

Experience: 1 to 3 yrs
