Experience: 1 to 3  Years

Location : Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing:

- Research and identify potential suppliers for food, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to obtain the best quality at competitive prices.

- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet restaurant needs while minimizing waste.

- Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels and usage.

- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

- Develop and maintain an efficient storage system for all supplies.

Supplier Relations:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable service and quality products.

- Address and resolve any issues related to product quality, pricing, or delivery delays.

- Stay updated on new products and industry trends to enhance the restaurants offerings.

Cost Control:

- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.

- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets for purchasing and inventory management.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all purchasing and storage practices.

- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, inventory levels, and supplier contracts.
