Overview: The Shift Incharge - Injection Moulding plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations and processes of the injection molding department.
This individual is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the injection molding processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of operators to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the entire shift operations of injection plastic moulding.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Lead and motivate the team of operators to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to address equipment maintenance and repair needs.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain product quality.
Provide training and coaching to team members for skill development as necessary.
Report on shift performance, including production metrics and issues encountered.
Ensure compliance with production regulations, environmental, health, and safety standards.
Participate in shift handover meetings to communicate relevant information to the next shift.
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
Resolve interpersonal conflicts and disciplinary issues within the team if any. Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new staff as needed.
Required Qualifications: 3 to 6 years of experience.
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a supervisory or incharge role within an injection molding environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
