Job Description

Responsibilities:

To produce robust and visually appealing weld seams, precisely feed filler material by hand or with an external wire feeder.

Before welding, fabricate or assemble metal parts, sometimes with the aid of fixtures, power tools, and hand tools.

Find and report any non-conforming welds or material flaws, and as necessary, help with rework or corrective measures.

Observe the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and any additional safety measures that are pertinent to welding activities.

Notify the supervisor right away of any equipment issues or maintenance needs.

Participate in efforts for continual improvement that optimise welding procedures and safety precautions.

Skills:

competence with AC/DC power sources for TIG welding machine setup and operation.

strong aptitude for reading and correctly interpreting welding symbols, engineering drawings, and blueprints.

familiarity with various metals and their welding characteristics.

Role: Tig welder

Experience: 1 to 6 yrs

Qualification: Any ITI Graduation
