Experience: 0 to 2 yrs

What you’ll Do:

Feed filler material accurately by hand or using an external wire feeder to create strong and aesthetically pleasing weld seams.

Fabricate or assemble metal components prior to welding, potentially using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.

Identify and report any non-conforming welds or material defects and assist in rework or corrective actions as needed.

Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols relevant to welding operations.

Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements to the supervisor promptly.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing welding processes and safety measures.

What you need:

ability to set up and run AC/DC power sources for TIG welding machines.

strong reading and interpretation skills for welding symbols, technical drawings, and blueprints.

understanding of the welding characteristics of various metals.
